OVERVIEW OF ISL
Advancing Supervision and Leadership Excellence
The Institute of Supervision and Leadership (ISL) was established under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) No.1, Cap 59 of 1990 as a professional body in Nigeria, with registration number RC 696852  to carry out, among other things, the training of men and women on effective supervision and leadership, to inculcate the tenets of good supervision and leadership and the necessary standards into members through constant seminars, workshops, conferences etc for the overall developments of their skills on the jobs, to provide useful information to individuals, organizations and the country as a whole on supervision and leadership matters and to issue certificates to those who qualify for its membership. Â

Institute of Supervision and Leadership Holds 12th Induction and Inauguration Ceremony at University of Lagos
The Institute of Supervision and Leadership (ISL) held its 12th Induction and Inauguration Ceremony on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the University of Lagos, Akoka. Themed âProfessionalizing Leadership: A Key Approach to Achieving Sustainable Development,â the event brought together distinguished fellows, professionals, academics, and inductees from across Nigeria to celebrate excellence, ethics, and visionary leadership. Representing the Acting President and Chairman of Council, Prof. Kayode Ilesanmi Kowale, FISL, was Mr. Emmanuel Ukpong, a member of the Governing Council, who delivered the Keynote Address on behalf of the President. The event featured keynote speeches, fellowship recognitions, professional inductions, and networking sessions that reinforced the Instituteâs mission of raising a new generation of ethical and transformational leaders.
